We spend half our lives waiting, waiting for lights, waiting for the right partner, waiting for the right opportunity, waiting to hear good or bad news, waiting for the right time.....waiting...waiting...waiting. I'm usually a very optimistic person and I'm trying to keep my attitude positive but I'm really tired of waiting. I have always been a dreamer.... always having a plethora of ideas brewing in my brain. I have always struggled with being a doer, I stand in aw of those people who can take an idea and run with it. I want to be a doer....I want to take atleast one of my ideas and just run the hell out of it because....I am sick of waiting! I am the only person in the way of my success will be my mantra...

Lord help me to be a better steward of your gifts....help me to develop a doer attitude and to be patient on the blessings you have in store for me and my family. Lord I humbly ask that you work on our behalf and move mountains.....Love Keona

Well today is my best friend's birthday, and my best friend just happens to be my amazingly wonderful husband. This month we will also be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary...how time flies when your having fun. Just the other day Brian and I were talking about how old we were when we met, him a dashing 27 and me just breaking the legal limit at 23.
Our journey so far has been filled with joy, love, learning, changes, growth, understanding, and the list of adjectives could go on but I'll spare you the boredom...the point is that it has been a beautiful journey that God couldn't have picked a better partner for me in. Happy Birthday my Sunshine, my prayer for you today is that you are blessed with many more to come and that we are blessed to be able to share them together.

OK everyone I finally got my website, blog, FB, and twitter connected so that people can find me....I'm depending on you to spred the news to your friends by suggesting my fan site to your friends. I'm now set up to be able to FB, Twitter and blog all from my phone I'm so excited and what can I say....very proud of myself...LOL! I think I'm an expert now in web design...ok, not really but I have learned a whole lot over the last month about what it takes to create a beautiful site. My blog is now integrated into my website finally....took me long enough but It was a work in progress.

Well the family has been doing some bass fishin the last two days and I thought I would share some pics of their monster catches. I'm a proud parent of two master fisherpeople to be politically correct. We fillet and batter fried these bad boys up and um..um..good. My Treasure Hunter!

This last week we celebrated by son's 7th birthday. We are a family of treasure hunters so we thought it would only be fitting to hold a pirate party...complete with a treasure hunt.

My husband and I created some fun piraty treasure maps complete with pirate lingo. The kids had a blast...including the big ones.
